Shipping & Returns Policy

I strive to be as transparent as possible when it comes to the original artwork that I sell through my website. Before making a purchase, please make sure to read the information below carefully. Do you accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations?

The short answer is yes and no... please read the specific criteria below.

Original Artwork Sales

  • Final Sale: Because each piece is a unique, hand-drawn original that requires hours of intricate line-work and technical precision, all sales of original drawings are final. No returns. No exchanges.
  • Cancellations: You may request a cancellation if it is done within the first 24 hours of purchase. However, because original works are immediately prepared for secure transit and removed from the active gallery market, any order canceled within this 24-hour window will incur a 20% restocking and re-marketing fee.

  • Review Closely: Please go over the details and sizing of your chosen piece very carefully before making your final purchase. I try to represent the accuracy of colors and details to the best of my ability, but colors may vary slightly on different screens. If you have any questions or concerns about a drawing, please contact me before purchasing.

Damaged Art Filings

  I package all original artwork with the utmost care to gallery standards. I am not legally liable for any items damaged by mail carriers. I cannot be held personally responsible for the mishandling of mail domestically or internationally once a package safely leaves my studio.  

  However, I highly value my collectors and am happy to handle these rare situations on a case-by-case basis under the following strict criteria:
  • Documentation: You must contact me within 48 hours of the documented delivery timestamp with high-resolution photos of the damaged exterior packaging and the damage to the drawing itself;
  • Resolution: If the piece is deemed a complete loss and a refund or store credit is agreed upon, the artwork must be shipped back to the exact physical dispatch address from which it was originally sent (provided to you at the time of your return approval). It must be returned in its original packaging (or equally sturdy, rigid packaging purchased from your local courier if the original box is entirely destroyed).

Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen Packages

  I am not liable for undelivered or stolen packages. If your package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier but is nowhere to be found, please ensure you input the correct shipping address at checkout (visible in your order confirmation email).
  • Incorrect Address: If an incorrect address was entered and the package is safely returned to my studio, I am happy to re-ship it to your correct address once an invoice for the additional postage is paid; and
  • Carrier Disputes: If the shipping address you entered was correct but you never received the item, you must personally contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number to file a missing mail claim. I am unable to refund or replace a one-of-a-kind original artwork for free due to carrier delivery failures.

International Shipping

  International buyers are solely responsible for any added customs fees, duties, import taxes, or local handling fees that may apply upon arrival. TA_ART is not responsible for transit delays caused by customs checkpoints.
